St. Agatha

"Jesus Christ, Lord of all things! You see my heart, you know my desires. Possess all that I am -- you alone. I am your sheep; make me worthy to overcome the devil."
- St. Agatha (d. 251)

Today is the feast day of St. Agatha. Agatha was a Christian who lived in Sicily in the third century during the persecution of Christians under the Roman Emperor Decius. She was arrested, tortured, and finally executed.
