Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord

"At his Transfiguration Christ showed his disciples the splendor of his beauty, to which he will shape and color those who are his: 'He will reform our lowness configured to the body of his glory.'"

Today is the feast day of the Transfiguration of Our Lord. This was the event where Jesus took James, John, and Peter up onto Mount Tabor and transfigured himself divinely and conversed with Moses and Elijah.
